Musician
Although born in the Wild West of Tucson, Arizona, Vicky Bernath grew up in Waterloo ON (canada). There, as a kid she went to plays in both Toronto and Stratford Ontario which inspired her to pursue dancing, singing and playing the violin. Later, after some school stints in various Shakespeare plays such as Viola in Twelf Night by Shakespeare and awards/scholarships for her accomplishments in many music competitions, she decided to try acting more seriously. After competing in a drama festival, in which she received top honors and Vicky decided that she wanted a change of scene and took a trip across the Atlantic to study music performance at the University of York.
She has been in York for a year now and has performed in various venues doing various things including playing the viola in the York Early Music Festival and portraying Joan of Arc in Shakespeare's Henry the VI at the Guildhall. Vicky is thrilled to be doing the panto (an entirely new idea for a Canuck) and thanks her lucky stars, J.C. and Robin for the inspiration to have and perform such opportunities.
Still being a teen, Vicky enjoys many high-energy activities and passions such as running, socializing with pals, singing, dancing, acting, films (okay, not so requiring in the energy department!), music of all sorts, drawing and writing the odd thing. She hopes to be a film director after a decade of having done many more performances of a mixed variety...hopefully on West End or Broadway!
